1. Important update instructions (BRS, BXS, GRS103, OS8TX-M)
============================================================
HiOS 10.3.03 includes a bootloader update.
To replace the bootloader, the update must be executed again after a system reboot.

Detailed steps:

1) Perform an update to HiOS 10.3.03 using your preferred method (e.g. Web Interface, ACA, CLI).
2) Reboot the device after the update was successfully completed.

Expected result:
- The device is now running HiOS 10.3.03.
- The bootloader will not be updated to HiBOOT 10.3.03 (HiBOOT is still version 10.0.00 or lower).
- A system log entry during HiOS startup notifies that the bootloader was not upgraded
(HiBOOT was not upgraded to version 10.3.03. Please perform the software update again.).

To update the bootloader, a second update of HiOS 10.3.03 is required.

3) Perform a second update to HiOS 10.3.03.
This second update replaces the bootloader. Make sure that there is no power interruption during the update.
4) Reboot the device after the update was successfully completed.

5) Verify that the bootloader has been updated to HiBOOT 10.3.03
From CLI, use "show sytem info" and check that Bootcode software release (FLASH) is HiBOOT 10.3.03.
From CLI, use "show sytem info" and check that Bootcode software release (FLASH) is HiBOOT 10.3.03.
Alternatively, from Graphical user Interface, check Bootcode version in dialog "Basic Settings > Software".

Expected result:
- The device is now running HiOS 10.3.03.
- The bootloader has been updated to HiBOOT 10.3.03.

Attention: If after the second update cycle the the device does not display the HiBOOT version as 10.3.03, contact your local support.

Additional information:
- If the Secure Boot function is enabled, then HiOS 10.3.03 does not allow downgrades to previous HiOS versions.
Secure Boot is an “enable once feature” and cannot be disabled.

- After the two upgrade cycles, both the main and backup HiOS versions will be HiOS 10.3.03.
It is not possible to restore previous HiOS versions using the CLI command "swap" or the "Restore" button in the Graphical user Interface.

- A downgrade to earlier HiOS versions requires an explicit software update (provided that the Secure Boot function is not enabled).

- The bootloader (HiBOOT) version remains 10.3.03 even after a software downgrade. A downgrade of the bootloader is not intended.
