Software Update

Hirschmann is continually improving and developing our software. You should check regularly whether there is a new version of the software that provides you with additional benefits. You will find the current version of the Provize® Suite software on the following website:

Open-Source Software

The product contains, among other things, Open-Source Software files, as defined below, developed by third parties and licensed under an Open Source Software license. These Open-Source Software files are protected by copyright. Your right to use the Open-Source Software is governed by the relevant applicable Open-Source Software license conditions.

Your compliance with those license conditions will entitle you to use the Open-Source Software as foreseen in the relevant license. In the event of conflicts between other Hirschmann license conditions applicable to the product and the Open-Source Software license conditions, the Open-Source Software conditions shall prevail.

The Open-Source Software is provided royalty-free (e.g. no fees are charged for exercising the licensed rights). Open-Source Software contained in this product and the respective Open-Source Software licenses are stated in the manual under the chapter titled "Hirschmann Software Conditions".


If Open-Source Software contained in this product is licensed under GNU General Public License (GPL), GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), Mozilla Public License (MPL) or any other Open-Source Software license, which requires source code to be made available, and such source code is not already delivered together with the product, you can order the corresponding source code of the Open-Source Software Hirschmann from  - against payment of the shipping and handling charges - for a period of at least 3 years from the time of product purchase.

System Requirements for Services

To install and operate the Provize® Suite, the following recommended criteria are required:

• Processor: x86 compatible 64-bit CPU with 4 cores
• RAM: 16 GB
• Solid-State Drive (SSD) with 500 MB of free space
• Monitor resolution: 1920x1080 (100% Zoom)

Supported Operating Systems:

• Windows 10  (64-Bit)
• Windows 11  (64-Bit)

Installation

  • Before you install the software, compare the sha256 hash on the web page with the sha256 hash calculated from the .EXE file:
    For Windows users, the Windows utility "certutil" can be used to calculate the sha256 hash. In a cmd window, navigate to the file location, then enter the following commands:
    CertUtil -hashfile <download file> SHA256 (Example: CertUtil -hashfile ProvizeSuite01900_Final_windows.exe SHA256)
  • Optional: To verify the installation file, perform the following steps:
    1. Right-click on the installation file.
    2. Select the "Properties" option.
    3. In the "Properties" dialog, open the "Digital Signatures" tab.
    4. Verify that there is a "Hirschmann" entry in the "Signature" list.
• Service
  • The Provize® Suite consists of a number of components. A background service performs most of the work.

Installation under Windows

• Login to your PC with administration rights.
• Save the Provize® Suite executable file to your PC.
• To install the Provize® Suite, you start the Provize® Suite executable file.
• Follow the instructions of the installation assistant.
• To start Provize® Suite, double-click the Provize® Suite icon on your desktop.
